Our philosophy is about regenerative sustainable farming, working with nature to bring you healthy, highly nutritious pasture-raised beef that tastes fantastic and improves the soil every day.

Our conservation grazed beef is truly the best for animal welfare and for the soil, and scientific studies have shown it to be net carbon negative. In fact, this method sequesters enough carbon per hectare per year to offset the emissions of a medium sized family car doing 10,000 miles.

Our position in the Kent countryside close to London makes this one of the most environmentally friendly beef options possible for families in London and the South East.

Conservation grazed beef is not widely available due to the cost and effort in raising beef in this way, carefully growing the longer grass and moving the cows daily with specially designed fencing.

Our cows are at pasture all year round in the picturesque Stour valley, and are Pasture for Life Certified. We move them carefully in rotation to graze intensively on grass that has been allowed to grow to up to two feet long. In fact, we move our cows almost every day after they have just had enough time to feast on the long grass and mixed forage, and after the cows have trampled their organic manure and grass stalks into the ground.

The effect on the soil ecosystem is dramatic and not only is the existing soil protected, but also significant levels of carbon is trapped back into the soil. The overall impact of carbon sequestration and soil protection makes this beef more carbon negative than factory farmed beef is carbon positive.

This rearing method produces the tastiest beef in the most natural way, and this is helped by us waiting patiently for the beef to be perfectly aged for 21 days before delivering to you overnight at peak freshness. The taste of this naturally-reared grass-fed slow-aged beef is incomparable and is very distinctive.

Our typical heritage breed 1/16 cow share beef box contains:
- 2 x 200g fillet or 4 x 250g rib eye steaks
- 4 x 250g sirloin/rump steaks
- 6 x 200g everyday (bavette) steaks
- a 1.7kg topside or silverside premium roast joint
- a 1kg slow roasting brisket or LMC joint
- 1.2kg of lean diced beef
- a further approx 2kg of steak mince.
